The Beginning
So how would it all start?
Me and you lying together,
Embracing you with your head on my chest,
And our legs tangled up like a spider’s nest.
I tell you jokes then you laugh,
And forever we want this to last.
We feel something special,
Neither of us can describe it.
Such a powerful feeling, there’s not even a use in fighting it.
Thoughts of you consume my mind,
You kiss me on the forehead,
And shivers run down my spine.
A feeling not only in my body, but also in my mind.
I retaliate starting at your neck working my way down,
Making your body melt.
Loving you, focusing on you, and nothing really else.
Love is war, we could keep taking cheap shots below the belt.
Or we could stay locked up in each other’s embrace until the moon begins to fade.
The sun creeping in, Black turns to blue.
We keep on at it, And morning turns to noon.
Time is irrelevant,
the future and past are simply sentiments of a world we leave outside.
Behind closed doors its me and you,
We create our own time.
I feel like I’m looking for a newer happiness in life. I know inner peace will bring me this happiness, but attaining such peace is difficult. The self can only be enlightened once the self is discovered. I feel like true inner peace is only possible when peace with others is attained. In these times introspection is tough with all the noise in the air, and clarity of mind hard to attain. Alone time may be in order to step back and reassess environment.
